voice_age

Specifies the Voice model name, which indicates the type of TTS technology used for synthesis.

Value
  • Adult: 18 years or older.
  • Child: Under 18 years.

DEFAULT: Adult

How to set

Shown in precedence order (see Rules of parameter precedence):

Set in the session xml file for the application. Configure the <speechsynth> element located under <sessionparameters>, <speechserver>.

Set in a VoiceXML application, using the age attribute of a <voice> element.

Set in the voice browser, using the Voice-Age header in a SPEAK method.

In Management Station, set on the Vocalizer service. If not using Management Station, set in the Vocalizer configuration file (User-nvsxx.xml).
